These may be times of important decisions, anxious concerns, job stress, death and bereavement, marital difficulty, depression, family distress… the list is almost endless. We often turn to our family, friends and spiritual resources to give us strength as we live through these difficulties. There are times, however, when another resource… a professional therapist… can help us find new understandings and new options.
Pastoral Care Associates is such a resource for many people in the CSRA.
Our philosophy
We believe that health is more than the absence of distress and involves a delicate
balance of physical, emotional, relational, and spiritual elements. During
periods of stress this balance may be upset, yielding discord within the person,
the marriage, or the family.
In responding to these stress-related problems, Pastoral Care Associates
utilize a holistic approach employing the perspectives of psychology, religion,
marriage and family dynamics, and medicine. We are a nondenominational organization offering a specialized ministry of
services to the community at large including individuals, groups, couples, and
