About Us
Pastoral Care Associates began in 1983. We consult with individuals, couples, families and businesses. Although our practice is a general practice, often we are consulted about problems
in many areas people encounter difficulty including, but not limited to: relationships, divorce, children, anxiety, depression, aging and aging parents,
grief counseling, addiction or even ongoing conflicts in business.
Pastoral Care Associates
utilize a holistic approach employing the perspectives of psychology, religion,
marriage and family dynamics, and medicine. We bring together insights
from social, psychological, and theological dimensions of life into a concern
for the client. Our counselors are grounded in psychological knowledge and
theologically informed. Committed to a process of on-going personal and professional growth, we have undergone clinically supervised training by the Association for Clinical Pastoral Education, the American Association of Pastoral Counselors,
the National Association of Social Workers
or equivalent training by their respective professional organizations
Consultation:
Consultation may be effectively utilized individually, in churches, church governing bodies, social services, and the workplace. Consultation can also be offered on an on-site basis which maximizes the use of he natural setting within which the individual or groups function.
